Time has been flying by at lightspeed! Olivia is crawling all over the place, rather quickly too! She has also been pulling herself up to stand and that means the falling has begun as well. She loves to pull herself up using the bookshelves and pull the books off, so now both Cora & Olivia empty the bookshelves constantly! (Cora uses the books to build with, usually beds for her dolls or animals.) It is so strange to see Olivia going from one room to another when it seems like such a short time ago she was just learning to sit up by herself.
Christmas was a lot of fun, especially for Cora. We got to see lots of family and didn't have to travel very much. Things have been happening so fast that it was very nice to have some time at home. Now that we have entered the new year I realize that we have a very busy year to look forward to!
Cora had the flu a couple weeks ago and that was definitely not any fun. It didn't help that there has been so much in the news about children dying from the flu. Cora was a good little trooper though and made it through just fine. After a few days of all sorts of horrendous stuff and an uncharacteristically tired & sleepy Cora, she was back to normal, even back to her usual practice of not napping anymore. Luckily the rest of us have not had the same symptoms.
I have so much to write about and not much time at the moment, Olivia is just waking up. I got a digital camera from Andrew for Christmas, so I hope to soon try putting some of those pictures up.
